A tree emergency could be any of the following incidents:
- Trees felled during a storm or high winds
- Partially fallen trees posing a threat to property or passers by

- Trees that are growing dangerously close to overhead power cables
- Large loose branches poised to fall onto public land or property

Immediate Response for all Emergency Tree Work Rayleigh Wide
Our capabilities are extensive and we have the manpower and resources on hand to deploy instantly in any emergency tree work situation. We will prioritise emergency work in all situations and can quickly free up our vast resources from other areas of Essex to urgently attend and deal with any tree emergency across Rayleigh.
What Happens When we Attend a Tree Emergency Situation?
The first step is to assess the situation for hazards. We have been conducting health and safety risk assessments on sites throughout Essex for over a decade and so are quickly able to ascertain the risks involved in any job, and find a viable solution to deal with them safely.
At all times our main priority is to ensure the safety of the public and everyone involved in rectifying the situation.
Once we have secured any impending hazards we will make a professional assessment of the tree and decide on the best course of action. If necessary we will bring in heavy lifting machinery and transport to remove a tree that is causing a blockage, obviously acting swiftly so as to minimise any disruption to traffic, etc.
In some cases we will carry out remedial work on trees that have not been felled but rather damaged. This may include removing unsafe branches for example, but in some cases it will be necessary to remove the tree altogether.
We will conduct a thorough inspection of the tree to ensure it is safe before we leave. Our expertise as qualified tree surgeons means that we can detect signs of decay and disease which may have caused the weakness in the tree in the first place, in which case we will recommend the safest course of action.
In all cases of emergency tree work Rayleigh wide we will leave the site clear and safe.
What Species of Trees can you Attend to in an Emergency?
We are able to deal with all species of trees as part of our emergency tree work. Rayleigh wide we come across a variety of tree types which include:
Oak Trees: Despite the fact that the English oak can grow up to 40 metres in height and can prove quite a challenge to deal with if felled by high winds, it is no issue for our experts to arrange for the safe removal of an oak tree in an emergency situation.
Willow Trees: Willow trees have expansive hanging canopies and are often found growing by water. This still does not prove problematic for our specialists however who are regularly called in to deal with storm damaged or fallen willow trees across Rayleigh.
Conifer Trees: Yes these trees can grow to extensive heights often up to as tall as 100 metres, but this does not prove challenging for our solution-finding tree surgeons who have on many occasions over the past decade dealt with exceptionally tall trees that have fallen across the public highway or onto overhead power cables.
Eucalyptus Trees: These trees will readily shed bark and branches at the best of times, and certainly more so during storms or high winds. We often attend emergency situations where eucalyptus trees are posing a risk of injury or property damage and in most circumstances will undertake heavy pruning to make the tree safe, or in some cases we will remove the tree altogether in order to prevent future problems.
Cherry Trees: The cherry tree will often grow wide and up to 10 metres in height, but it is not an issue for our experts to attend and take care of any that have fallen or look as though they are posing a danger.
Silver Birch Trees: Even though they grow up to 30 metres in height and grow deep roots, we are able to attend to any emergency situation involving a silver birch tree, including treating any disease or decay.
Ash Trees: The ash tree will often live as long as 400 years and can grow to heights of around 35 metres. They will usually grow together to form domed canopies, so in many emergency situations after a storm or high winds we will need to remove or deal with more than one tree, which of course is no problem for our specialists.
Plum Trees: A lot of people grow very fond of their plum trees and will often ask us to do what we can to salvage them if they have been damaged in a storm or high winds. We do of course, as qualified tree surgeons, always put the health of the tree first whilst considering safety issues. If we can make a plum tree safe in an emergency situation, if that is what you wish, then we will do all we can to do so.
Cedar Trees: Cedar trees are unusual in shape as they grow several trunks. They will also regularly grow to around 35 metres. No problem for us: we’ll attend and do whatever is required to make the site safe and clear any blockages caused by a fallen cedar tree.
Pine Trees: Pine trees can grow to heights of 35 metres and if they are not regularly pruned they can quickly become hazardous in high winds, often being felled and sometimes falling onto power lines or the public highway. If this has happened then we will respond immediately to deal with the situation efficiently and with the utmost safety.
